Viral: Target Employee's Moving Gesture For Teen Goes Viral

Target is offers many different products, from electronics, clothing, and furniture.  Target even helped a teenage guest prepare for a job interview. The teen was shopping at a Target in Raleigh, North Carolina, he went to Target looking for a clip-on tie for a job interview with Chick-fil-A. Unfortunately Target only offers regular ties. The problem was, he didn't know how to tie a tie.' 

Target employee Dennis Roberts stepped into action.  He didn't send the boy to another store, instead Roberts found the teen a tie, but also taught him how to tie it.


In addition, Roberts spent time to coaching the teen with interview advice. Roberts explained how he needed to tuck in his shirt, give a strong handshake and how to answer tough questions during the interview.  Burnita Woodruf Matthews, who was also shopping said to WNCN, "It just really touched my heart,".


Audrey Mark wrote a full description under the phonto and shared it to Target's Facebook wall. "Bought headbands, ham and had my heart warmed," she wrote. The photo has gained more than 53,000 "likes" and 4,000 shares. The store's manager, R.J. Jasso, told WNCN: "It's part of our job. At Target, we want to make sure we engage every guest." According to the photo's comment, as the teen left the store, the store's employees cheered him on. Chick-fil-A told WNCN that they have not yet made a decision regarding the interview.
