Ducks In England Get Their Own Walking Lanes?

Ducks In England Get Their Own Walking Lanes?

Ducklings coming, make way for them!

There is tons of foot traffic comiong through the waterside walkways of England and Wales, but now they are being expanded for ducks.

A white line parallels the main road, and separates it for the ducks.

Quartz reported that in London, the lanes were painted by Dick Vincent, a towpath ranger for the Canal & River Trust. “It just wouldn’t be possible to paint lanes on the towpath for all our different visitors so we thought the ducks could have one instead,” Claire Risino, campaigns manager at the Trust, told Quartz.

The lane is also stamped with a hashtag #sharethespace.

  1. Having read this I thought it was very enlightening. I appreciate you taking the time and energy to put this article together. I once again find myself spending way too much time both reading and leaving comments. But so what, it was still worthwhile! capitalone.com login

  2. Aw, this was an extremely nice post. Taking a few minutes and actual effort to make a top notch article… but what can I say… I hesitate a whole lot and don't manage to get nearly anything done. aol.com mail login sign
